Located in the East Village on 13th street between First Avenue and Avenue A.
The closest subway station is the First Avenue stop on the L train, which is only one block from my apt. You can take ANY subway to 14th street and then pick up the L train. Also, you can just walk (about ten minuets) from Union Square.
